    prices

Hi, I am very confused about some prices here on WAF

    for exemple this:

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=425921

175$ or 130€ for a standart Deumer WB in Silver Tombak just worn condition? I cant believe .... so high.... in EU you would get some one like this for max 70€ ... I think this would be fair....

this is not the only item with a much too high price..

    opinions?

    cheers

    Paula

Sellers can ask any price for items. The sale price is what matters.

      ..........

Sometimes I see what people have paid from the last price posted on the
item for sale and I scratch my head. Maybe some people live in an area
where they don't have access to alternative ways to get good prices on things.
But I have learned that there are 2 types of sellers here.
Type #1 is the type that actualy wants to sell the item for sale there by
      offering it at reasonable price.
Type #2 is the type that doesn't care about selling the item. They only want
to sell the item if they get a lot of money for it. If not it will just go back into
there collection. But either way they don't care.
As a buyer, you have to ask yourself what kind of a seller you're dealing with.

Just dont pay the money no problem.I woudnt buy it for that price way to high but then again seller can ask what he wants

The buyer has the final say in it if he wants to pay a high price

This cycle of absurd prices just goes round and round and has IMO ruined the hobby. Buyer A payes too much for an item. When he tries to sell it he lists it at a profit over the already absurd price he originally paid. Eventually buyer B buys it and so it go's. Each time the trinkets price gets higher and higher. Time will tell if this "greater fool theory" will continue. I don't think it will.

Exactly. I like how people will list a price and say something like "I can't go
any lower because this is what I paid for it". So that means that I should have
to pay some inflated price just because you were stupid enough to buy it
for that price? Some people make no sense.
