In my opinion and experience with fake badges, the first one, the black one with missing paint, is a fake, because of the missing rivet.
Compare the 2 badges, the black badge is missing a rivet in the back of the helmet.

That's what my experience is also i woudnt want a wound badge with a missing rivet in my collection.
I was always told that that's a sign of a fake often seen on the low rim fake.

                  Hi

There is no problem with the first badge, original badge unknown maker

Talking about missing rivet, try to find a solid mm 92 silver/gold with the back rivet

The second badge is also good

                  Cheers,
                  Ronny

Exactly! I would put the first badge in my collection any time.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
