Wound Badges (Black & Gold) - Opinions

    Dear All

Again, I have gathered - this time - 2 wound badges, I think there should be no problem with them, but always better to doublecheck with You experts here . I still have much to learn, but after hard check I decided to get these:

All help is more than welcome,
The black should be a marked Deumer, and the gold an unmarked 30-er? Is this right?

    Many thanks again in advance

      Dear Laszlo,

      You learning fast...

Both are nice original, the BWB is indeed a Deumer in brass with the not so common round catch instead of the more common hook (?) style with the typical small block hing for his early awards... The GWB is also indeed unmarked '30' tombak with the round catch( exist and square) with the concentric rings for hinge with the needle type of pin w/o the sharp pointed end...

PS: I don;t think anybody is expert, all we learn from each other and in this great hobby the knowledge never ends...

Many thanks Chris and Andreas for checking these goodies

Wow, Chris, what knowledge You gathered...it is interestig, that all little tiny part has it's own notice and history.

Now I am waitin' for a 65-er marked K&Q, I don't think there will be a problem with it, I have threble-checked it, since there could be more danger-fakes around (but.....no rust, sharp pinpoint, mark location, catch, hinge should be there where it should...)...we'll see, I will post it also

        Many thanks again
