Hi Greg,
You have a genuine "92". These are only known in zinc (which your example is). They were marked either in the middle or offset to the left (as your example is). This example appears to retain all of it's finish, however the reverse appears to have "turned" to grey almost 100% whereas the obverse retains the nice silver colour. From what I can see, the case looks fine.
