    BWB question

    Hi,

I got this one today with a bunch of other awards. My question is, is there any evidence that the maker mark was always a number (digits)? On this particular piece it appears that the letters E H are in the place where usually the maker mark would be.

Any input would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Heli

Both letters and numbers where used.

EH stands for Eduard Hahn and yours is a variation. Hahn can be found with both markings on the same badge as well 126 - EH

        other examples are

        Assmann - A

        Eugen Schmidthausser, Pforzheim - E.S.P.

        Fritz Kohm - FK 129
        Regards
