    Spanish Pattern Wound Badge Opinions

Looking for opinions on this Spanish pattern wound as to it's authenticity. Is this a black badge with the paint flaked off?

    Thank you,
    Glen

          Glen,

There is something about this 1st type WB that puzzles me - the dots (berries, balls - call them what you will) in the main part of the badge look very flat. In hand are these more raised?

They are all raised. On the reverse you can see the impressions. I am assuming these were die struck?

              Yes they were die struck.

It's probably the pictures combined with my eye sight that makes them look flat I do not have any problems with the originality of the WB, it's avery nice example with a very nice patina.

Can´t say that i see anything alarming with this WB.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
