Hi, got these beauties a few days back, what do you think?





Has the pin on the BWB been repaired/added? Or is it just a shoddy job? I can't see any previous pin attachment marks.

Hi. The silver and gold are in my opinion 100%. The black I don't know. This particular style of badge seems to show up on German ebay often. As for the pin....replacement? Regards, Ron.

I like the gold and silver ones as well. Both have the hinge and catch setup which is associated with the maker GWL. I believe the black one to be good as well. I see these with this pin arrangement from time to time and believe them to be accepted by the wound badge collecting community.

I agree with Dennis, the SWB and GWB are indeed having GWL catches.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure the black's genuine - it's just the catch that concerns me. I can't seem to see any previous markings where the catch could have been, so maybe it's not a replacement but a repair?

Has anyone got a BWB like this with a neater job?

Again, I see this setup from time to time, and I have numerous photo file examples of the fastening setup you show. I think it is fine.
