Just wanted to say a quick thank you to all who contributed to the thread.

I recently bought a very small document and award grouping. The only thing missing is a BH Mayer BWB from out of its marked case. I am looking to buy one to fill the case and complete the grouping, and have been reading up on Wound Badges in advance of the purchase. This thread, and this entire subforum, have been very helpful for my general knowledge.

It's a shame that so much is so well faked.

Not exactly, violence solves nothing. But with details about the seller - then we collectors can be forewarned and take the precautions - so do you have his details?

You say he's the Hero's (Carsten Staegmeeir) friend, so do you think these are the Hero's fakes?
