    Black Wound Badge in Packet

I bought this Black Wound Badge yesterday at a show in PA. It is unmarked, but is in mint condition. The packet came with it, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't have been put together. Is the packet original? I paid $25 for the badge and packet. I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on the badge and packet. Thanks in advance!

Before pronouncing judgement, could you post a picture of the hinge from side angles?

I don't recognise the BWB setup for any maker I know. Also the packet to me looks all too new, I'm fairly certain the packet is a fake.

My gut feeling is fake for both the BWB and packet - but and a big but - wait for other comments.

I'm no expert but I think they are both bad.

I do not like the detail on the helmet. It seems to be missing definition along the flare of the helmet.

Thanks guys, keep the comments coming. I didn't realize that they were faking wound badges yet. What's next, fake tinnies?

Sad to say but both WBs and tinnies are being faked.

The packet IMO is no good, and I have never seen hardware on a genuine bwb like that before. The badge is lacking in detail also on the obverse, and the paint looks strange, quite new looking. Is the badge magnetic?

I haven't been on this forum for very long but from reading the posts they will and have faked about anything you can think of.

Neither the badge or pin are magnetic.

Sorry but the badge is a Souval made fake
