It's a bit of a zinc pest mess (well the reverse is), it looks like a pillow crimp B. H. Mayers - but I'm not convinced (anymore) that B. H. Mayers made these.
There might even be an L/18 below the catch. Can you post a close up picture of the catch and the area below it?
It is a silver pillow crimp B H Mayer-Mike what makes you think these are no longer made by mayer. compared this to the one in the GCA forum data base and its an exact match-have you more information?

Andy, during my research into the various pillow crimp badges the L/18 marked WB's bear no resemblance hardware wise (catch, hinge etc.) to any other B. H. Mayer marked made badges. I suspect that the SWBs were bought in by B. H. Mayer and stamped with the L/18 by B. H. Mayer.
Currently this is a bit of a loose theory and some further evidence is required - I'm working on that.
By the way I'm not doubting the originality of the L/18 marked pillow crimp WBs - just the real maker.
