    Good point Hans,

that's why i wrote "imo". I think if it would be part of a new production standard or evolution than we would see more of those badges with the removed integrated setup.

The badge of Ronny is to what i know the only existing one.

      Hello guys

IMO the reason why the integral setup was removed would be that it just broke in production.
The integral setup is quite week, I have two mm 63 badges where the catch is almost
      broken off.

      Cheers,
      Ronny

I can only agree with you Ronny.

I had the same problem with some 81 badges ... opening it 3 or 4 times and the setup broke off

That's why i still think that your badge is a very nice factory repair and not a mass production piece.

        .... a rare beauty
        Best regards, Andreas

This would make sense. Most production or lines have a repair or fix station.
Where the product is fixed if can and be moved forward. Our area is empty most of the time Also remember there was a war on and materials
could be short at times. They would want to meet quotas and get the stuff out the door

And never name sites or Auction houses where you have seen suspect
badges. You might get scooped on another badge you were looking at on that site.

Martin posted a 16 BWB on the GCA Forum recently which does not appear to have an integral setup, nor does it appear to be repaired in that I do not see any signs of an integral setup ever having been there.

                    Hi Dennis,

i agree that Martins 16 BWB is different and don´t show us the details of integrated hardware cut offs. When comparing it to Ronny´s it´s quite clear that the font, size and positioning of the numbers is different.
Which leads me in to the conclusion of two different used dies.
                    Regards
                    Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

                      Hello Dennis,

you show another die. The so called "mirco" 16. The badge from Ronny is either a repair inside the firm or the step between the integral setup or the standard setup.
                      Best regards, Andreas

                        Hi guys:

Thanks for pointing that out. I really jumped to a hasty conclusion in ignorance. I did not know this variation was out there and this is the first "Micro" 16 BWB I have seen or have photo images of.

I will write this down.....posting while drinking does NOT enhance perception.
