Heinrich Wander packet and BWB on Markus Scholtz's latest update

Hello, did any one on this forum get the Heinrich Wander packet and BWB from Markus Scholtz's (http://www.militaria-berlin.de/) latest update?

The reason I ask, is that I would be interested to compare the packet and BW with a Heinrich Wander packet and BWB that I have. Basically I'm trying to establish if the BWB is original to the packet/maker or whether they are a matched "pair".

If you are the new owner of the BWB, then this might be of interest to you.

Based on the pictures on Markus' site my Heinrich Wander packet matches almost exactly the one sold on Markus Schultze site, it gets better - my BWB is a match for the accompanying BWB - the setup on the BWB is fairly unique, so my gut feeling is that both are correct pairs. You might just have got yourself a very rare BWB and packet - but I need some extra information/pictures to confirm this.

Graeme, thanks for letting me know.

I've been trying to find other badges that are attributed to Heinrich Wander, as yet with no success, have you encountered any?

          Hi Mike

I have not really looked, but I picked the wound badge up because I thought it had distinctive hardware. I don't normally pick up packeted black wounds if the badges are unmarked or have common hardware..

It might be worth investigating the IC2s, as these apparently can be found, marked 131. It would be nice to compare the packets if anyone has an IC2 packet for this maker.
Common medals such as the ost medal and kvk2 might have also been ring stamped 131 ?

          cheers

                    Graeme:

I'll look forward to seeing this badge with the packet as well. Congratulations on what sounds to be an interesting acquisition.

                    Dennis
