Hi, gents. Does anyone have a GWB mm28 to show, with the finish remaining?
Here's mine, w/o finish.

I should have said no gold left. The badge has 99% of a satin-like laquer finish except on the very highest tips of the swaz.

Are you sure it's a Gold WB? My marked Silver 28 has very similar characteristics to your WB.

It came in the same black case GWBs like 30's come in. Is there any silver on yours? Thank you!

FW, there's no silver left on my 28, also there is no trace of any gold finnish on it.

Well, I suppose they could be either, or? Is the bright gold pin significant? Thanks, Mike.

I'm not a believer in the gold pin means gold WB theory, so I don't think the gold pin is necessarily significant. Interestingly enough, there is a similar discussion to this on the GCA at the moment.
