    Wound Badge Crystal Ball

Well someone back in Germany had a crystal ball and foresaw the 1957 version wound badge ahead of his time, pity he did'nt give some info to the military, he could have saved a lot of grief.

Couldn't it be a WWI wound badge?

Carson gave you the most likey answer to the riddle but it´s a possibilty that it can be post war assemblied as well.

I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Colin, I assume that's a pin? If so, that's the first pin combo I have seen that includes a drivers badge - it's an interesting combo.

It's a perfect little 1939 style helmet, just no swaz, it's far nicer in hand as the scanner light really adds far too much flash, not styled like a 1914 at all, my thinking is post 1957 assembly with some period parts, but it's only 9mm and I did'nt notice it myself for years after I bought it, because it's so small so who knows, I bought it for the KVKs and yes the unusual driver on offer too.
