    Silver zinc wound badge ?

Got this as a part of 20 new silver wb today. Silver wash still remains on the hinge and catch. Looks like a souval set up or similar. Well let me know more about it please......

I have seen many such badges like this over the years. The badge itself could very well be original, unfinished production stock that had the attachment hardware added postwar. The catch is definitely not wartime. Or if the badge too is postwar, it was probably struck using the original tooling. I would agree that this is the work of Souval or one of the other Vienna-based companies.

        Best regards,

          Hello Daniel,

like Tom says it´s a post war Souval piece with the charactaristical reverse catch that says it all.
          Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
