    Irregular dot pattern BWB

Here's a recent arrival, I have no problems with the originality of the BWB. It is a so called "Assmann style" BWB, is there any evidence to suggest that Assmann produced these BWBs?

I have one just like it. As for Assmann, I think the general consensus so far is no. Nice badge! Ron.

        Hello Mike,

if i remember it right (am at work) the only thing these has in common with the Assmann WB´s are the irregular dot pattern.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

          Nice badge pickup!!

I like this variation as they stand out from the other, more typical patterns.

As an interesting side note, Ronny posted an L/11 16mm BWB stickpin on the GCA forum which had a similar textured background. No conclusions were drawn from this to my knowledge, but it was a something that caught one's attention on this very subject. I am curious to know more as well.

            Thanks for all the responses

This is going to be another one for the long term research.
