I always thought L 58 was Souval, anything R.S or L 58 I always avoided, but still managed to get loads of fakes, but thats besides the point.
In Christopher Ailsbys books, Combat Awards of the Third Reich and World War 2 German Medals the LDO reference states:
L 22 Rudolf Souval
L 58 Glaser & Sohn
In a more reliable source of text i.e Gordon Williamson's book The Iron Cross of 1939, it states the fact L 58 is indeed Rudolf Souval and the premise of an EK 1 outer carton with the Souval address and L 58 in conjuction with it.
Angolias For Fuhrer & Fatherland also states L 58 as being Rudolf Souval.(In the postwar production chapter)
It must have been typed up from Ailsbys books?
Kind regards,
Marcus
