Hello,actually these wound badges are often 99% of time refer to as 'legion condor' wbs but in fact legion condor wbs are so rare that few can be found.
Ths is a more known as a type 1 wound badge.

lMO,they are the same just that it started out early during the war when they were first issued to those who fought for spanish war.Begin first wound badge wth swastika to be issued,they are always known to people as'legion condor' types but actually type 1 .These wbs are made from WW1 stock but wth added swastika that makes it rarer than type 2 that we see everyday.

To add or re-iterate what Sunkist has said -

The BWB is a 1st type suffering from severe corrosion, was this ground dug?

As to the difference between true Legion Condor and 1st type, there is still alot of debate about this. The only way to prove if a WB is a Condor one is to have absolute provenance - but that is very hard.
