            Nothing to worry about there with that S&L WB. Have you checked under the catch if there is a small 4 present there?

              Hi Hans......

              ......I hadn't thought to look there. Looked, but no number present in that spot....just the mark on the pin. I was surprised that this badge seems to have a deliberately applied dark finish to it. Previously, I took this deep grey to be the zinc itself, in regards to silver WB's.

              I'm still on the learning curve.

                Bruce,

                I have a couple of S&L's - one of which is has a dark finnish to it like yours - it appears that this is not unusual with S&L SWB's.
