    Gold & Silver (unmarked) Wound Badges

    Hi guys, I posted these on AHF. But thought I would get some opinions over here. I bought these a few weeks ago, and they made me kind of curious about unmarked gold and silver wound badges. I have a few questions:

    -Were there many unmarked gold and silver wound badges? if not does it make unmarked examples more valueable?
    -Does the quality of the materials used to make the badge increase or decrease in value? The heavier the better?
    -Do some maker marks increase the value of wound badges significantly just because of the rarity or the fact they are more desirable?

    Then some general comments and pricing per badge would be nice

    Lots of Questions.This good.I will try and answer some and hope my
    fellow collectors fill in and fix my mistakes.I would first say there are more unmarked then marked.Many of the makers made them.You can
    find unmarked in tombak and zinc.30 makes a nice unmarked tombak.
    You will find the unmarked zincs a bit cheaper.The unmarked tombaks
    a bit more.You will find marked badges wanted the most and the tombaks at the top of the pack.Price Range....In the whole field you
    can get silvers between 50 and 100
