    Triple marked 65

    Hello everyone.

Got this nice black K&Q badge. Studing some hi-res pictures I had noticed the second "65" mark (No3 on my pic). Yet , few minutes had pased and I find another one (No2 on my pic) though not very obvious, but seen pretty clearly at certain angels. Now , how comon is that? THX

I picked one of these up the other day and posted it here.

I don't think they are that common but who knows. Mine is marked like yours. In my pics you can't really see the third mark, but it is there if you tilt it at the right angle. I had a hard time finding it at first. Nice examples for sure.

Maybe a ring of Canadian black wound badge fakers are out there?

Mine never came from Canada. It came from overseas from a knowledgable collector and I never paid any more for it than any other black WB, less than some I see being offered. I doubt fakers would make the 3rd mark almost impossible to see.

Ah i see what Steven said in a previous post, is not common and imo is of the same time with the '42' type.

Overall the K&Q black WBs are one of the nicest
