well these make up 75% of my wb's hehe i bought a black l/54 a few weeks ago that set me off

so its early days for me

I am not sure.The l/14 is one of the most complex badges out there
to study.There are more fakes then good guys.Some only like the
tombak types.Go to the search area and punch in l/14.On the second
page you will find a thread called,Is this one of the infamous l/14.
A good thread and your badge is there.

i see, right into the middle of a minefield with this one.... iam hoping the black l/14 is a keeper though?

ill try and get some better pics up, ive had a look at the other l/14 pics and i cant see a similar setup as yet, mmmm least it wasnt toooo expensive

To me this type is one of the questionable L14s.

The L14 black to me is looking repainted.

The 4 is looking 99% good to me with a very minimal doubt to be copy because of the bizzare apearance.

Hi gents! I only have one black Imperial at the moment, but I have just bought two more, one from a trusted dealer I know from the states, and another off a Feldgrau member. I should have them in a week or so, and when I do, I'll borrow a digital camera and post all three here to start off my collection thread on WAF!
