          Well Andre, i'm not sure of this one.
          All the L/57 WBs i have seen has raised maker marks and usually have the coke bottle pin.

          The weight range is between 22-23 gr.

          Let's see what the others have to say, for now not for my collection.

            Hello Chris
            The weight off the WB is 22 gr.
            That´s look good
            Could someone else with another L/57 please post a photo of it.
            So that we can compare this silver WB.

            Regards,
            Andre

              Hi Andre,

              Here's one a search turned up;

              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=wide-pinned

              ....go to post#11

              To me the obverse characteristics of your badge are a match to the wide-pinned example. There do not appear to be any significant problems with the badge - materials and hardware look period. The different hardware may simply be a period variation. On the possible down side, I have seen other variously marked badges like this with similar hardware but different maker markings. An old fake is a possibility, as is period outsourcing.

              Regards
              Mike

              Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

              If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!
