Black Wound Badge Marked '3'

Hi Guys,

I picked this badge up about four years ago form a sports shop of all places.

I can't make my mind up about it although the Deumer mark '3' gives it some appeal.

Fake/Repro/Authentic - Opinions please.

Hello Hagwalther:

I can see no problems with your badge. This example is in wonderful condition and is one of two accepted & differing maker mark variations for the Deumer BWB.

You have the stamped in 3 mark located close to the rim of the helmet, and it is a great looking badge.

The other variant is a raised mark located higher on the helmet, and near the swastika. Here are a couple of photos of the other type.
