Thank you kindly for the backgroud information on the piece as well as posting pics. I think that I can accept what has been said in reference to this example. I hope that this thread has also benefited others, these types of pieces are easier movers for dealers. I really thought this was a good piece.

Hi Eric,
I too was fooled by these little badges, its very well done. I bought mine from Manions auction, sent a lot of emails to them about the badge. They finally alowed me to return it where it ended up in Ron Manions hands, he too agreed the badge is bad.I think this is one of the few times Manions has accepted a return and paid a refund a year after an items purchase.
Please do a black light check on the box I'd like to know what shows.
