I am preparing to offer these 2 wound badges to a collector friend and I want to ensure they are original examples.
Wound badge in Gold appears to be solid brass and weighs 33.4g.
Wound badge in Silver is marked "26" and weighs 24.3g.

I greatly appreciate the assessments. Last year I mailed off a batch of wound badges and a Gold one that I had had for over 30 years turned out to be an old and nice reproduction. I did not want a repeat of that mistake.
