Maker of this VWA in schwarz

    Hi guys.
This my first one. Got it in the bundle. Seller said mark is unreadable. I believe it says 40. Looking for confirmation from specialists.

    Thank you in advance.

Would it be possible to post some pics of the hinge and catch? The catch looks like it might be a S&L or a Overhoff & Cie but 40 is for Berg & Nolte and that makermark is not known among the wound badges AFAIK...
    Regards
    Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Can you post a few more pics of the maker mark from different angles? I am not so sure its 40, and like Hans says B&NL is not a known maker of WB.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            Hi

It's half of a 81 makers mark, quite common with hard to read pin stamps
            Nice badge in nice condition

            Cheers,
            Ronny
