Deschler, L/10 type silver WB, material?

Just got this superb looking WB, not the best pics but it's really great. The hinge is soldered directly on the badge and the catch with a plate.
Note sure of the material though? Approx 28 gram.Doesn't feel like zink and it's not magnetic. So buntmetal?

    Nice looking badge

Hard to say from just pictures
but the lack zinc bubbles is a good sign
I dont have one with this pin setup, but my tombak ones
is about 30 grams and zinc ones 25 grams

    Cheers,
    Ronny

      Nice VWA!

I would tend to say we are looking at a zinc badge here. The baseplate under the catch it indicative of zink base metal. Tombak badges tend to be a bit heavier than zink (my tombak examples are 32-37 grames while my zincs range from 24-28 grams.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
