Wound Badge Black - Glaser & Sohn

    Hi,

I have been on the lookout for a black Glaser & Sohn badge for some time now, and maybe I have found one.

So I really need your opinion about this one.

    Thanks
    /Jonas

      Hi guys,

everytime i see a Gläser & Sohn i get that tingeling feeling and emediatly the Souval issue pops up in my mind. Just take a look at this obvious Souval and compare the obverse details... this is from my files btw

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

            Hi

If you look at #1 https://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/for...k-wound-badges
That is what a fake Souval looks like, at least one version, and they are easy to spot if you know what to look for
Gläser & Sohn Silver and Gold WB's is a minefield, might even be tha case with the black ones

I still regard the posted badge to be a Gläser & Sohn but i might be wrong

            Cheers,
            Ronny

I will keep this badge and make some more research.

There is one on Ratisbons Auction very similar to the one you have posted.

Good eye Hans, I also question these Glaser & Sohn badges. Not all of them, just the ones that match the Souval obverse design and the ones that are marked like Souvals.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
