IMO the only way to be absolutely certain whose badge is on sale, is if it comes with the original documentation. And for that you pay a massive premium. I doubt you'll ever see these on offer in the public domain. The private market is infinitely larger.

...even then you will never be 100% sure if it's his badge. I have my reserves on "documented pieces". I see it as an exeptional addition to it if the piece itself is original to begin with.
