I like it. A nice double-marked example by Funk & Bruninghaus of Ludenschied.

I like it too! Very nice with the double markings, and the reversed catch is also interesting.

            Best regards! Tom

I read an other newer thread about an repainted black Wb .I couldent stop my self from trying.I carefully brusched the paint at the edge with an tops with some aceton and rigt away it turned black. From what i understand old war-time paint aint solveble with aceton?? Is the conclusion it has been repainted right ??

I am not an expert on WBs but this one is certainly a good one - a genuine item

                  Mikael,

Your WB is totally junk and has repainted at least twice!

Forward this WB to me please! JUST KIDDING!

I love it in every aspect, and quite hard to find the double L/56 mm

I've got a couple of L/56's unfortunately both are not double marked, yours is a very nice example of a Funk & Bruninghaus.
