          1.

          2. ... Where is the pebbling in the background? Very unusual. The pin set up looks good to me as do other aspects of te badge.
Maybe Chris V. will chime in on these.

            OK last one for now

This one has an L57 under the pin, the pic is a bit fuzzy of the MM but its the best I can get.

Thanks so far IQ , lets see how they pan out.

            regards

The L57...I do not like the quality on this one . What is it made of? I have only seen two other L57's and none have the "common" pin, clasp, and hinge combinations that are used on known good wound badges...but that is not to say that they were not produced. I would add that the crisp line on the rear of the helmet is a red flag IMHO.
Again, wait for other opinions .

                    L57

Looks like its steel, I was wondering about the line too I was thinking repaint perhaps? At worst its one for the new section. These came in a box of tinnies and other stuff I took in trade for an EK 2 last year.

                    Thanks so far

                    best regards

                      Mark,
If the badge is steel, that would explain the pitting and corrosion on the left front, and as you say, it may very well have been repainted. Usually fake badges made of steel are of a very inferior grade prone to rusting...not looking good on this one.

                        Hi,

The first WB appearing to be an unmarked 'K&Q' ---

The second WB is original too from unknown maker, the missing pebbling indeed is uncommon but exixt on some original badges ---

The third WB is kind of strange, weird paint i assume that is repainted with semi-gloss finish and as for the originality of the award itself i'm not so confindent.
Until you can post clear pics of your pin set-up and maker mark ---
