Opignon for Navy Black Wound Badge

    Hello
( Forgive me for the duplicate, i posted this message in the lauvaise section yesterday. )
I am relaunching it in search for the purchase of a Wound Badge and I have found this one which seems to me good.
Can you help me authenticate it ?
Thank you in advance for your help !

    Hi Gaëtan,

Could you post a clear photo of the catch?

From the already posted photo it looks like it could be credited to S&L or possibly a Overhoff & Cie
    Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Hello, thank you for your answer.
I’m going to try to get additional photos but it’s going to be a bit complicated since it’s on a sales site.
Maybe you know him : Tompress Militaria

Can I conclude with total confidence ? ( It seems to me very well )
In these cases I buy it immediately on its site.
Its price is really interesting to compare from what we see on the market.
I still have a question, is this type of manufacturing wartime?

          Thanks You again

With out proper photos of the hinge and catch it´s impossible to give a proper answer IMO. These Imperial Naval Wound badges are a minefield but this one has a good chance IMO.

I bought him I would take the photos upon receipt.
the contact with the seller is very professional and with the right of return I trust him
I will post the photos soon

Thanks You for your messages !!

                  Hi

I dont have so much experience of these navy WB's but this one looks good to me, nice details. the only concern I have is the rust, its not looking that old

Let's see what the Imperial WB collectors says

                  Cheers,
                  Ronny

I am in no way an Imperial WB colletor but that is not a S&L or Overhoff catch but i do recognize it from somewhere...

Like my friend Ronny i also like the details and i never saw the rust on the initial photos to be honest
                    Regards

Do you think it authentic or copy?
rust does not shock me since it is made of magnetic metal ...

                      Thanks for your messages

                        Hello
would rust on this badge mean it is fake ?
since it’s a magnetic metal (Iron) it doesn’t shock me.
if someone cannot help me with this badge it will be nice.
                        thanks again

                          Hi again

Rust is not uncommon on iron/steel badges
My consern is that the rust on this badge looks new
                          not 80-90 years old

But it might have been stored bad lately, who knows
And I like the details on the front and the back
I cant say for 100% thats its a good one, but I like it

From the pin/hinge setup it looks like it could have been made in the 1930s

                          Cheers
                          Ronny
