Wound Badge Silver - manufacturer please?

    Hello,
Could someone please tell me the manufacturer of this badge? It is unmarked.
    Kind regards,
    Colin

        Hi Colin,

Fine original unmarked SWB by Hauptmunzampt.

        Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I agree with Tom! Indeed a Hauptmünzamt from Vienna.

Hans and Tom, many thanks for your swift reply. Can you tell if it’s early war, late war etc? Kind regards, Colin

                    Well spotted Ronny.

Now I have to go through my unmarked ones. ☺

The extra berry makes this badge interesting.

                      Hello Ronny,

imo this is no berry, only the shining of the light.

                      Regards Shaver

Yep, I would agree with this, it is most likely a glare. Here is another one I had on file with similar appearance.

I took some more photos. I don't think it is a 'berry'. The metal is definitely slightly raised at that point though.
                          Opinions welcome?

Good eyes Ronny! I didn´t see it until you posted about it. To me that is definitely not a glare of any kind.

I agree with Ronny and Hans. That is definitely not glare. It is a round, raised protrusion so either an "extra berry" or some kind of flaw. But on my examples it looks like an "extra berry".

                              Best regards,
                              Tom
