1st pattern wound badge w/case for review

I would like your opinions on this early wound badge and case. The badge is non-magnetic. The badge and case are both unmarked. The pictures are a bit blurry and some of the details don't look as sharp.

Here is a better photo showing the details.

Well on a personal point of veiw this one i do not like due to the soft details on the obverse. I would love to see better pics/scans of the badge

I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

I tend to agree with Hans here, the obverse details are a bit sloppy and weak, in particular the edges of the swords are really poorly done near the hilt.

Reverse hardware setup looks suspect as well, notice how loose fitting the pin appears to be, another red flag.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I tend to agree on the badge, poor quality for such a badge. The case on the other hand is IMO a good one but a missmatch with this particular badge. These cases mostly came with the Höhlverbodet variants, and this badge is of course not one of those...

          Kind regards,

          AW

Nice case, but it is just for a 1939 would badge.
