    Is this an L/11 deumer fake?

    Hi Fellas,
    This L/11 Deumer turned up in the post this morning and i'm not sure whether i like it or not..i think its a cast fake,there is no rear rivet to the helmet.......What you you guys think?

    Opinions sort ,comments welcome,

    It looks okay from where I'm sitting.
    I can see the rear rivet.
    Can you post a photo of the reverse with the pin down?

            it looks to me that the rivet is present and IMO is a "textbook" zink Deumer

                Hi Bob,

                A fine original for me as well, and nice one to add to the collection. These zink Deumers seem a little harder to find than their earlier tombak brethren. Nice pick up.

                  Thank you for the confirmation,this Silver L/11 WB award came in with a Meybauer marked (7) Ost front in the correct small type packet I will post that later..

                    Funny I think this is the other way around. ☺
                    I am having a hard time finding a Deumer marked tombak badge. Most of the tombak badge marked L/11 I see is Grossmann badges. 🙄
