    Wound Badges

    Hi Gents,

    Four wound badges for opinions.
One Black, two silver and one I think is Gold, the pin certainly is and there appears to still be a little of the gold wash left in places.

    Thanks

    Hi Kevin,

All nice originals, but I suspect the BH Mayer L/18 has a replaced catch.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

You are right, a new catch.
For exemple the catch of my zinc L/18.

Thanks Shaver, that is exactly how an original BH Mayer catch should look on their SWBs. Looks like a nice example.

Indeed 4 original badges and as Tom pointed out a replaced catch on the L/18 zinker.

                  Hello Kevin,

                  As said, nice original badge.

The L/52 SWB is very nice, and one that is still missing in my collection. ☺

                    Silver Wound Badge L/52 marked

                    Hi Gents,

Since posting photos of 4 Wound Badges I have received a number of offers to purchase the Silver L/52.
To save further disappointment I am afraid this Badge is not for sale.
Not wishing to add "salt to the wound" it also came with a presentation box as shown.

                    Sorry.

                    Kevin
