    Opinions on L/54 BWB

    Hi Gents,

So I received this black maker marked L/54 wound badge in the mail today.
First thing I noticed on the badge is that the rim is extremely low on this one, is that normal on black wound badges produced by Schauerte & Hohfeld or are we dealing with a fake here?

The badge weight is around 15 grams.
It is maker marked in the helmet with L/54.
The hardware on the back seems to be correct to these kind of badges.

I am looking on some outside opinions because I really don't know it with this one.

Let me know your thoughts on it!

    Kind regards,

    AW

      Hi AW,

I like it too, nothing wrong with this one at all and textbook S&H in very nice condition.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Ronny & Tom,

Thanks for your replies! I am glad the badge is good

Is there any particular reason why these L/54 badges have such a low rim in comparison to other badges?

        Let me know.

        Kind regards,

        AW
