    Very nice...I have always liked these “cut-out” type wound badges...1st for me to see “E.8.” marked... Another SME will comment. Thanks for sharing

          Nice one! That one is cut out by hand which can be seen by the material left in the catch area

                Could be but then again E.S. could be "echt silber" as well
                So far i have never seen a tombak badge marked E.S.... hardware is another matter though.

                  A couple of more from my files, neither are made of tombak. The one with the prongs are most likely made to fastened on a photo album or similiar

                      A nice original badge but imo not a factory cut-out as the hardware was obviously in place before the cut-out was done.
