Help with gwb 30

I came across this Gold wound badfge, marked 30 at a local shop. It is quite heavy and looks promising. My main concern is the finish. I think it might have been refinished, the most accurate presentation of the color is pic 3. It is a kind of bright gold/yellow. The pin is also bent. Your comments would be much appreciated.Jacques

I think it looks fine! It is just very worn imo and the main colour you see is the plain buntmetal. The brighter yellow finish is how it used to look,

Too bad the pin is in such bad shape,

Nice original Haupt for me as well, nice worn look to the fire gilded finish. The pin looks exactly what I would expect if it were pulled hard right off the tunic.

Thanx guys. The fire gild finish crossed my mind, only the fire gilded badges I have had a deeper gold tone. This one however is a very attractive badge.

I like Toms explanation for the bent pin, very cool.J
