Couple new additions - Silver WBs

    Hi guys,

Wanted to show a few new additions to my silver would badge collection.

First up is a relatively common Hauptmunzampt with wide pin and nicely marked "30" on the reverse. Completely intact hardware and the recipients initials scratched into the reverse is a nice touch.

The 2nd is much less common, F&BL with L/56 marked in raised relief above the catch. Nice silver finish left on this one as well, and fully intact hardware including the left-facing "?" catch, typical of badges by this maker.

Hope you guys like them as much as I do.

    Thanks

    Tom

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

    Hi Tom

    Nice addition to your collection
The wide pin 30 badges are really nice

But the L/56 badges in Tombak is even nicer
they are really heavy and nice details

I think you got the WB addiction too

    Cheer,
    Ronny

      Tom,

With the initials A.H. you may have found the holy grail of all wound badges - Adolf Hitler's previously unknown silver wound badge probably awarded in January 1943 when he was suffering from constipation and anal fissure due to Stalingrad. Great find!

      Cheers, Tom

        Hi Tom,

no wonder it gets harder and harder to find some nice wound badges these days when you go around and picking the market as well...

        Nice pair!
        Regards
        Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Thanks for the nice comments guys, much appreciated. Glad you like em, I am quite happy with the condition and amount of wear they have on them, which gives them a nice worn look.

Stay tuned, have a few more to post, had quite a nice SOS this year.

              Hi guys,

Here are a few other silver I recently added:

First up is a Meybauer in decent condition with a good amount of silver finish remaining. I like the grooves on the pin and its nicely marked L/13 on the reverse right above the catch.

Second is a Pillow Crimp BH Mayer in zink, also with good amount of finish remaining and marked L/18 right under the catch crimping.

Last one is a nice Josef Rücker I picked up at the SOS, with a nice deeply stamped 92 on the reverse.

Hope you guys like these as much as I do.

              Thanks

              Tom
