    Silver Wound Badge "30"-for review

I would like to get your opinion about the originality of this Wound Badge in Silver, marked "30". It is made of zinc. What puzzles me here is very smooth surface of the revers. I expected to see some bubbles there. Pin is magnetic. Is it the original one? Should it not be made from thicker rod?
Paper issue bag seems to be original.
Thank you in advance for your comments.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

      Hi,

I don't know about the tute but the badge looks original, just pretty harshly cleaned with a nasty abrasive - ?steel wool?

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Agreed. Looks like somebody tried to make a dark zinker "shine".

I can only agree with the others, a fine original Haupt, but with some agressive cleaning which scratched it up unfortunately.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thank you, Tom and Rylan, for confirmation of the condition of the badge. I guess, cleaning could be done by the original recipient. I do not believe, a dealer or collector would do it. Unless , the very unexperienced ones.
              Best regards,
              Klaus
