Verwundetenabzeichen marked '92' by Josef Rückert & Sohn

    Hi guys

I recently purchased this Verwundetenabzeichen from the Lakeside Trader. This was from a veteran's family, found the lot during a clear out. This badge along with the other items, was inside the original envelope that the US soldier sent it back home in (I am currently trying to research this soldier from the name on the envelope). Inside the envelope were the wound badge, the wound badge's original envelope, 20 reichsmark, and a few other bits and pieces. What are your thoughts on the badge? Also, any ideas on what this piece of paper could be from that was in the envelope?

    Thanks

Very nice ones, Hans. I’ve been waiting forever to find one in gold but have never seen one for sale.

                  Hi Kiwi,

Nice original as Hans said, and extra special with the marked packet. A keeper for sure.

Hans, those are some beauties, thanks for showing!

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
