    Hymmen WB?

    Hi guys,

This one was listed on Philipp Militarias site as an L/98, but looks more like a Hymmen L/53 to me, no?

    Thanks

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

This indeed is a nice L/53 by Hymmen & Co.

      Hi Tom

      Yes that's L/53
I have seen multiple guesses on the blurry L/53 makers mark over the years

      Cheers,
      Ronny

I can only agree with Ronny! Have also seen a wast variation of interpetrations of them - L/58, L/39, L/63 etc etc etc al because of the squashed maker mark

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Thanks for the replies guys, and confirming my suspicion here.

Chris, you are right, it can sometimes look like L/52 Zimmermann. But the obverse has a different design, correct? And the mark is typically on the pin on Zimmermanns, correct?

            Thanks
