Frauen und Kinder enamel pin

I saw this at the antique mall today and took a gamble. I'm guessing its wwii era? It has very good enamel quality.

Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? Any value to it at all? I didn't pay much for it and the enamel is great so I thought I would take a chance on it.

"Zum Segen deutscher Frauen und Kinder" means "As a blessing for German women and children."

I know badges that are almost identical to this one except for the center monogram which says "V.D.H." and that have been identified as being for the Vereinigung Deutscher Hebammen [Association of German Midwives].

This is clearly for a related or subordinated association with the "Th." almost certainly standing for another geographical designation. (For example "Thüringer" = "Thuringian", but that is speculation on my part.)
