Clarifications on the German Eagle Order Spanish version

I open this thread to make clear certain aspects about the so-called Order of the German Eagle Spanish version.

I am reading certain opinions of collectors who say that this medal is a fake, fantasy manufacturing, reprocessing, not contemporary, etc.

On the other hand is the opinion of other collectors who claim that it is a 100% real decoration that was used by the winners with the Order of the German Eagle and therefore, is not a souvenir, a fake or a fantasy.

I will contribute my opinion and knowledge to clarify doubts because everyone is right ....

-The so-called German Eagle Order Spanish version is NOT a contemporary decoration.

-When the winners of this medal began to have problems of replacement of the medal since Germany lost the war and of course these medals were not manufactured in Germany, they began to order copies of the same to specialized Spanish workshops to be able to replace the medal in his medallion pins creating for this this little refined version, with enamel on one side and very rough details imitating the original medals.

-On other occasions this copy of the medal was ordered to have several medal bar and not have to remove the medal bar each time a different uniform was worn ... this way each uniform had its medal bar.

-Copies of Spanish manufacture were manufactured from the early 50's until the late 70's because in Spain the military continued to show German medals in their uniforms after the Second World War until almost the 80's.

-For all this I can assure you that the German Eagle Order Spanish version is not a fake, it is a real medal that was used by Spanish soldiers deserving of the original German version but it is not a contemporary medal of the 1939-1945 period. Is a Reposition Medal
