HJ Hat Diamond Pin

Hi all,

I just wanted to reach out and see if I understood this HJ pin correctly. Due to the backing, would this be a HJ hat diamond instead of an HJ pin?

More so, I was researching the maker and found that they are not commonly found on HJ pins. Therefore is anyone sees any red flags, please let me know!
