I have never seen a badge like that. If it's a period piece, it's very cool design. I would think one would have showed up by now. Nothing like it in the party badge book or any other books I've read about enamel badges. Hope someone can give insight either way.

I know there were Adolf Hitler schools but i never seen a badge specifically for them. Although they had badges for every other thing. Very cool design. Just weary because I've never saw it before.

The construction and markings look legit, just weary of giving thumbs up to a piece that's never came up before. i am not an "authority" on badges. Just know a little from collecting and reading. The eagle (though in rough shape) looks to be correct from what you can tell and so does the party badge portion at the bottom. Just never seen the two together like this and a lot of fantasy pieces are made like this, combining two known pieces to make a new "super rare" piece to fool suspecting buyers. Aging them is another trick. But the maker mark Wiedman is an accepted maker of badges at the time and usually fakes have an rzm or an m1/ mark as that's what beginner collectors recognize and that's the target for fakers.

The man to ask is Jo Rivett who literally write the book on enamel party badges. If anyone could give you definitive answer on this badge, it's him. He has a site but recently switched to a paid format and I have not as yet obtained a membership there. It is well worth the price of admission for some one who collects enamel badges though and I plan to join very soon. I have a good feeling about this badge, but my opinion is insignificant really.

You say the digger knocked the pin off. Did you get this from a digger yourself? If so, do you know him personally and trust him beyond a doubt? Even this is not definitive proof but would make me feel better in your position. Hope someone else will chime in with better input. Really is a cool looking design.

Hello Eric, Thank you for your opinion, the needle has the finder even when he found it ruined, but no longer sought or found. So i will ask Joe Rivett, thx

Hello MST0402, this badge is right as rain! There was only one AH school and therefore the badge is extremely rare. I once have seen one (nearly unworn) within a without doubt legit group of a member of the AH school shown at MFF. I do have the certain pics but cannot show them here.

              Greetings, daggers.

Not sure if the badge is good or not but there were 12 AH schools, so chances are
there would be more out there.

Hello, yes, you are right, there have been 12 AH schools. It has been a misinformation of myself.

Nevertheless the badge is period and very rare. As said I am aware of one in a grouping of a former member of a AHschool who later did come to the luftwaffe.
                  Greetings, daggers.

Hello, I am sorry, although I am member since 2004 and therefore longer than most here (at these early times I could show pics without restrictions) I am not allowed to show pics here any more. And, sorry, I am not willing to pay myself for educating other members here.

Concerning the number of AH schools, I unfortunately did confuse them with the single Reichsschule Feldafing which has nothing to to with the AH schools.

                        Greetings, daggers.
