    Party badge with RZM4.

Can you help me with this badge?
    http://img135.echo.cx/img135/4821/49ah.jpg

The badge has ALL dodgy signs -
    1. O isn't O, but 0
    2. L-S
    3. D
    4. narrow A
    5. small swas doesn't touch circle
    6. Ges.gesch is together with RZM 4 code
    7. a pin is strange and it is above the centre of the badge

But at the same time the photo can't show how BEAUTIFUL this badge is, it is thicker and heavier then my other party badges, red and white colors are true, small swas is very nice. What do you think about it?

    Thanks to all. Regards. Mike

Mike, All I see from link you provided is the reverse of your badge.

Tough call - the RZM logo is classic with thick inner ring and proper letters. A "4" without the M1/ prefix is possible from early 1935, although I've never seen this one. There is a fake "M1/4" reverse seen on the fantasy "SS-Zivilabzeichen", but this isn't like it.

The swastika doesn't touch the inside rim, but that happened occasionally in pre-RZM badges - not as common after the RZM set guidelines.

The newness of the pin-plate is worrisome.

This could be a transitional badge.

              Thanks to ALL.

Now I see that the fake points list is not enough for authentic badge identification.

              Regards
              Mike
