I picked this up today, Nevr herad of em being boxed. The mini itself is stamped on back l/14 and had a small black clip holding the cross to ribbon. Any knoweildge on these? Thanks in advance

That's a nice mni. I've always liked them.
They were offered boxed - especially the gold grade. The boxes had the felt-like backing shown. The bow and pin attachment is perfect.

These mini Mütter Cross's were private purchases items hence the LDO mm on the back and the LDO box's. I believe of officially awarded cross's the full size gold cross was the only one that came cased while the silver and bronze were issued in envelopes.Comment

You are correct. I had a set on my site (just sold) that had the entire set, but all were cased. The silver and bronze were in gold cases, which wasn't technically correct. Came with the miniatures. Obviously assembled by a collector, though they were "walk-ins" to the Kassel show last year.Comment
